速率单调（RM）算法是C. L. LIU（刘炯朗）和J. W. LAYLAND提出的单处理机实时周期性任务静态优先级调度算法。

该算法的按照任务的速率分配优先级。速率越大，优先级越高；速率越小，优先级越低。

C. L. LIU和J. W. LAYLAND给出了可行调度的充分非必要条件：

U=\sum_{i=1}^n{\frac{c_i}{p_i}}\leq{n(\sqrt[n]{21)}.

其中，U是处理机使用率，c是作业的计算时间，p是任务的周期，n是任务的数目。

In computer science, rate-monotonic scheduling (RMS) is a scheduling algorithm used in real-time operating systems (RTOS) with a static-priority scheduling class. The static priorities are assigned on the basis of the cycle duration of the job: the shorter the cycle duration, the higher the job's priority.
