银莲花属，秋牡丹 （windflower，学名：Anemone）包括约120种多年生草本植物，在全球温带地区广泛分布，中国有52种，在全国各地分布，主要生长在高山地区。有的分类学家将白头翁属（Pulsatilla）和獐耳细辛属（Hepatica）也合并到本属内。

银莲花属植物为多年生草本；茎一般为块茎、根茎或膨大的木质地下茎；叶基生，分裂的或复叶；花美丽两性，无花瓣，花萼为花瓣状，4－20裂，有各种颜色：白色、紫色、蓝色、绿色、黄色、红色、粉色等；果实为瘦果。

Anemone /əˈnɛməniː/ is a genus of about 120 species of flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae, native to temperate zones. The genus is closely related to Pulsatilla ('Pasque flower') and Hepatica; some botanists even include both of these genera within Anemone.
