海军上校詹姆斯·库克，FRS，RN（Captain James Cook，1728年11月7日－1779年2月14日），人称库克船长（Captain Cook），是英国皇家海军军官、航海家、探险家、制图师，他曾经三度奉命出海前往太平洋，带领船员成为首批登陆澳洲东岸和夏威夷群岛的欧洲人，也创下首次有欧洲船只环绕新西兰航行的纪录。

库克年少时曾于英国商船队服役，1755年加入皇家海军后，他参与过七年战争，后来又在魁北克围城战役期间协助绘制圣劳伦斯河河口大部份地区的地图，战后在1760年代为纽芬兰岛制作多张精细的地图。库克绘制地图的才能获得海军部和皇家学会的青睐，促成他在1766年获委任为HMS奋进号司令，首度出海往太平洋探索。

Captain James Cook FRSRN (7 November 1728 –14 February 1779) was a British explorer, navigator, cartographer, and captain in the Royal Navy. Cook made detailed maps of Newfoundland prior to making three voyages to the Pacific Ocean, during which he achieved the first recorded European contact with the eastern coastline of Australia and the Hawaiian Islands, and the first recorded circumnavigation of New Zealand.
