层压式推销（英语：Pyramid scheme），**又称老鼠会，是一种不能持久的商业运作模式，参与者通过介绍其他人加入而赚取佣金，这些佣金来自新会员的入会费，如此类推，一层压一层。公司通常没有提供任何产品或服务，或者是以高出市价的价钱出售「产品」。在**取其有如鼠类繁殖速度而有老鼠会之别称。这种推销手法至少有100年的历史。其他类似的手法为matrix scheme，但层压式推销（老鼠会）是一种不合法赚取佣金的行为。

大部分层压式推销试图混淆视听，把骗局包装得复杂和似是而非。参与者付入会费后，要介绍其他人入会才有收入，上层的参与者可以分享下层参与者的入会费，一层压一层，如金字塔一样；金钱向上缴集，发起人是最终得益者。最受害的是最低层的参与者，因为他们若未能介绍其他人入会，只有付出，没有回报。为了欺骗参与者，层压式推销通常牵涉假个案和假证据。一些多层次传销计划已被证明是层压式推销的变种。

A pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products or services. As recruiting multiplies, recruiting becomes quickly impossible, and most members are unable to profit; as such, pyramid schemes are unsustainable and often illegal.
