Wiśniewski

Wiśniewski (Polish pronunciation: [viɕˈɲɛfskʲi]; feminine: Wiśniewska, plural Wiśniewscy) is the third most common surname in Poland (111,174 people in 2009). The name roughly translates to "from the town of the cherry tree". The English transliterated equivalent Vishnevski is common among other Slavic people: Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians and others.
