反读或倒读、逆读(Verlan)，是指将文本语言用相反的顺序念读。

反读会受到语言的音韵构造与音节影响，而不是将音素反过来念。例如日语假名「キセル」/kiseru/若以音素单位反读会变成/uresik/，但实际上被认识的反读字是「セルキ」/seruki/，这是因为日语以音节为单位反读。

大多数的汉字为单音节，因此汉语基本上以字或词为单位反读，常见于回文，例如：人人为我→我为人人。

英语称为反写或倒写（reverse-spelling），意思是将字词拼写倒过来，例如：Evian（爱维养）和Naive（天真）、Redrum（赛马名）和Murder（谋杀）。
