酒精戒断症候群（英语：Alcohol withdrawal syndrome），戒断症候群的一种，出现酒精依赖的人，在停止饮酒时，通常会出现这些症状。当某个人有长期摄取酒精饮料的习惯，会形成耐受性与心理依赖。若突然减少或中断酒精的摄取，在数小时内，心理与生理上会因此产生各种不舒服症状。这些症状可能会持续至数周之久。长期大量摄入酒精会影响中枢神经系统，突然停止酒精摄取，会造成原本被抑制的神经系统过度活化，因此产生这些症状。

Alcohol withdrawal syndrome is a set of symptoms that can occur when an individual reduces or stops alcohol consumption after long periods of use. Prolonged and excessive use of alcohol leads to tolerance and physical dependence. The withdrawal syndrome is largely a hyper-excitable response of the central nervous system due to lack of alcohol. Symptoms typical of withdrawal include agitation, seizures, and delirium tremens (DTs).
