Thiazoline

Thiazoline is a heterocyclic compound containing both sulfur and nitrogen in the ring. Although thiazoline itself is rarely encountered, its derivatives are often bioactive. For example, in a common post-translational modification, cysteine residues are converted into thiazolines.
