证言法，又称为名人证言法或代言，是一种普遍使用于广告及宣传的手法，让知名公众人物或一般民众利用书面或实际演说的方式，替特定事物证明或背书，借此提高事物的可信度。

证言法现在最常被使用在电视广告中，尤其是信息型广告。例如一个中产阶级家庭的妇女，可能会在广告中兴奋地介绍某个厂牌的洗衣皂是多么的好用，借此广告主可以塑造产品平易近人而且广泛被使用的形象。

一般来说，证言法最好能找与目标群众较为接近的人物来代言。但对于名人证言法而言，则是将名人的形象移转至产品、品牌或公司，也就是希望产生所谓的月晕效应。名人证言法有一个最大的致命伤，也就是当代言人在公众有负面形象时，负面形象同时也会回头去伤害所代言的产品或品牌价值。
