Olszyna[ɔlˈʂɨna] (German:Langenöls) is a town in Lubań County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its name means "alder wood" in Polish. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Olszyna. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6mi) south-east of Lubań, and 116 kilometres (72mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. As at 2006, the town has a population of 4,786.
