Meiō(明応), also known as Mei-ō, was a Japanese era name(年号,,nengō,, lit. "year name") after Entoku and before Bunki. This period spanned the years from July 1492 through February 1501. Reigning emperors were Go-Tsuchimikado-tennō(后土御门天皇) and Go-Kashiwabara-tennō(后柏原天皇).
