Lyngbya majuscula

Lyngbya majuscula is a species of filamentous cyanobacteria in the genus Lyngbya. Tropical marine strains, including many producing bioactive compounds, have been separated as the new species Moorea producens. Antillatoxin has been extracted from the venom of the cyanobacteria.
