沙漠鬣蜥（学名Dipsosaurus dorsalis）是索诺兰沙漠及莫哈韦沙漠很普遍的一种蜥蜴。牠们也有在加利福尼亚湾的几个岛屿出现。

沙漠鬣蜥最初是由斯宾塞·富勒顿·贝尔德（Spencer Fullerton Baird）及Charles Frédéric Girard于1853年所描述，并分类在环颈蜥属中。后来艾德华·哈洛威（Edward Hallowell）于两年后将之更名为现时的学名。属名是以希腊文的「口渴」及「蜥蜴」组成而来。种小名是来自拉丁文的「背部」，意指沙漠鬣蜥背上一排很大的鳞片。Dipsosaurus属是单型的，即其下只有一个物种。

The desert iguana (Dipsosaurus dorsalis) is one of the most common lizards of the Sonoran and Mojave deserts of the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. They also occur on several Gulf of California islands. Their color is mostly grey and tan.
