飞镖，是一种用手将前端使用金属制作，后端具有尾翼的细长镖具投掷至靶子，并讲究投射精准度的运动。

飞镖运动的历史，最早可追溯到罗马帝国时代。帝**团驻守不列颠岛时，当地多雨的天气限制了士兵们们的户外活动，于是有人发明了一种游戏，在室内用手将箭投向用柞树横切面制成的靶子，形成了飞镖运动最早的雏型。

19世纪末期，英国人贝利恩·甘林发明了现代飞镖运动的计分系统。1970年代初期，飞镖运动传遍整个欧洲大陆，并成立了世界飞镖联合会。由于许多酒吧会设置飞镖设备，提供酒客作为余兴节目，因此每年举办的世界飞镖锦标赛和诸多其他比赛，大多由啤酒公司赞助。

Darts is a form of throwing game in which small missiles are thrown at a circular dartboard fixed to a wall. As well as being a professional competitive sport, darts is a traditional pub game, commonly played in the United Kingdom, across the Commonwealth, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Republic of Ireland, the Scandinavian countries, the United States, and elsewhere.
